Operation Reconnect is a unique organization that provides the "gift of time" to soldiers and their families who have faced the challenges of overseas combat deployments. The non-profit group, founded and operated by former and current service members, provides an opportunity for post-9/11 combat veterans to enjoy quality family time in Alabama and Florida. It takes over 125 volunteers and a huge community effort to raise the money needed for the success of Operation Reconnect.

This year's project, known as the 'Jeep of Faith Part II," involves customizing a 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL. The Jeep was brought from Orange Beach, Alabama, to Tennessee by the founder and executive director, Ryan Charrier, and current service member, Curtis Mitchell, who runs the program's daily operations. From the hand-painted graphics designed by Bufkin Air Design to the 16-million color accessory lighting, the features added to this JL make it really stand out. After donating Rough Country products to help finish the look, we were excited to see the final results.

This rugged Jeep Wrangler JL went from mild to wild with the help of RC products. The front end is protected with our solid-steel bumper that features black series LED lights and a high-powered recovery solution with the Rough Country 9500-LB PRO Winch system. A set of black-series Ditch Mount Cube Lights and a 50-inch LED Upper Windshield Light Bar top off this head-turning look.

The Jeep Wrangler JL is a true off-road warrior and will be able to navigate any terrain with ease with our 35" Nitto Trail Grappler Tires. The hand-painted details on the 20" Rockstar II Matte Black Wheels and inspiring quotes on the front and rear Inner Fender Liners combine to make this JL a true work of art.

The Jeep JL is a great vehicle all by itself. But when you add modifications to it, it gets even better. This Rear Trail Bumper includes a spare tire mounting system, a license plate relocation kit, and a smooth swing-out motion so that you can easily access your cargo. An RC matte black finish exhaust system adds to the aggressive look.

Operation Reconnect was founded in 2014 with one simple goal: to give returning soldiers time to reconnect with their families. Since then, they have provided beachside accommodations, meals, and activities at NO COST to over 1000 families across the Country. The simple fact that this program exists is a testament to the character and compassion of those who established it, run it, and are participating in it.
