The most common type of lift kit is a suspension lift. Most suspension lift kits replace various suspension and steering components. This lift typically ranges from two to seven inches in height, costing upwards of $3,600 depending on the size and components included. However, it's important to note that this type of lift can be the more expensive choice option if you're looking to add more ground clearance to your vehicle.

A body lift kit only raises your frame by one to three inches and consists mainly of spacers between the frame and body of the vehicle. This kind of lift is cheaper than a suspension lift – usually only costing around $100 to $400 or so – but it doesn't provide quite as much height as its counterpart.  

Finally, if you're looking for something even more straightforward than either option listed above, consider investing in a leveling kit. Leveling kits are designed specifically to raise just the front end and install on top of the strut or on top of the coil spring, making them relatively easy (and inexpensive) to install at home if you have basic DIY skills. These kits often range from less than $100 and up to $1300, depending on the model year or make/model compatibility.
