Better still, Rough Country Recovery Systems utilize a 3-stage planetary gear train boasting a 265:1 gear ratio; allowing enormous torque in such a small housing. All Rough Country PRO winch systems include a replaceable Clevis hook for convenience.

Have yet to use but winch seems ok. I’m just really happy it fit inside my bumper. The control box had to be removed and mounted elsewhere for it to fit. Perhaps in a year or two a real review can be made. I give five stars now because of the incredible delivery time Rough Country has, it is second to none!
